Strength to Strength welcomed Anan Twijjukye to share an underappreciated historical reality: western Christianity has deep roots in Africa.
Christianity is often labeled a “Western export” to Africa. However, long before European missionaries arrived, African communities had embraced Christianity for centuries, forging movements and shaping a faith that transcends geography. This talk reclaims that narrative, highlighting why recognizing Africa’s contributions is key to healing divides and building a faith that truly unites all nations
An interactive question-and-answer period follows.
