Join Pablo Yoder as he outlines what it means to be “wise as serpents and harmless as doves” (Matthew 10:16). This two-part event highlights proactive peace-making and loving your enemies, illustrated through first hand experiences.
In the afternoon session, Pablo’s presentation is accessible to younger children. Besides story-telling, he shows a collection of items left behind by the robbers.

Pablo Yoder is an author of numerous books, a testament to his wide expertise and passions. His books range from his love of nature such as “The Work of Thy Fingers,” biographical sketches such as “Unconditional Surrender,” to devotionals such as “Soul Food” and “Footsteps of Christ,” and many more.
Pablo grew up in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and moved to Costa Rica as a child. After marriage, Pablo and his wife Euni were blessed with six children and moved to plant a church in Waslala, Nicaragua.
Of particular note, Pablo and his family have lived through dozens of tests of faith while encountering robberies and death threats in Nicaragua. His responses are predictably creative and consistently filled with love for his enemies.
