Join Steve as he describes how he has stumbled and fumbled his way through growing up a Catholic, falling into the world, finding Christ through tragedy with the help of a Seventh-Day Adventist and a Calvary Chapel radio broadcast, spending nine years in a Baptist church, and finally landing in a conservative Anabaptist congregation with all its cultural intricacies and anomalies.

Steve Meres lives in the middle of the woods… near a lake… in rural Maine…with his wife Karyn and their five children. Currently Steve works in the shed business, but has spent years being a baker, an IT manager, and a chef. Together, Steve and Karyn have been navigating the sometimes difficult, often head-scratching, always stretching journey from world, to Baptist, to Anabaptist.
Steve and his family are a part of the Beacon of Light Christian Fellowship church in Stetson, Maine.
