Strength to Strength welcomed two brothers to share their stories of God’s leading in their lives in the past year.

The power of telling one’s story of God’s leading in our lives is often underestimated. The apostle John speaks of those who found victory by their testimonies:

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

Revelation 12:11

In this talk, we welcome these two brothers to share their testimony of God’s work in their lives in 2023, with the hope to bring encouragement for each of us in the upcoming year.

An interactive question-and-answer period follows.

Kyle and Lily Yule live in Chambersburg, PA and attend Chambersburg Christian Fellowship. Kyle began his search for kingdom churches in 2021. When he had found the Anabaptists his heart fell for the community aspect of radically and simply following the new testament and spreading God’s kingdom. As Kyle and Lily continue their journey they pray God uses them in whatever way He sees fit to spread the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.

My wife, Linda of 17 years, and I, with our 8 children live in Calgary Alberta, Canada. We moved here recently after doing one year of Biblical and Religious studies at Sattler College in Boston. We moved from Grande Prairie, Alberta a Northern farming community where we had lived since being married.

Linda and I were both raised in conservative Mennonite communities, Linda in LaCrete, Alberta, and I in Burns Lake, British Columbia.

Our search for truth and meaning in life led us to a place where we were both baptized as believers on October 7, 2021. Not long after this life changing experience I felt like God was asking me to give up my life long passion for trucking and ranching. The journey that has brought us from the farm with cows, horses and dogs to the urban church plant that we are a part of here in Calgary (a city of 1.3 million people) has been a wonderful experience filled with God’s love, grace and mercy (and many faithful saints)!

We are now passionate about sharing the gospel here and are exploring ways that we can show the love of Jesus in a culture filled with selflessness and darkness.
