When bad things happen in life, we might console others or ourselves with reassurance that “it was God’s will” or that everything happens for a reason. But is everything that happens the will of God? Can I trust the goodness of God in spite of all the evil in the world?

Wendell lives in Pittsburgh PA, with his wife Janet, and six children, where they live and try to love each other like families should. He is part of a small church community with a vision to bear witness to the beauty of Jesus’ kingdom through community life. He’s also a valued team-member of Strength to Strength. He enjoys drinking coffee on his front porch, listening to good books, and bringing old houses back to life again.
Wendell serves on the elder team for their congregation, Disciples of Jesus.
